HISTORY
Traditionally lively and fertile, the artistic debate in the canton of Neuchatel has nonetheless diminished since the end of the seventies. As a true consciousness of new issues proposed by artists – in Switzerland, all of Europe and America - art from Neuchatel was lacking vitality, without orientation or tendencies, appended from the adventure – even though sensational – of contemporary art.
